Questions
How many drops of sweet orange oil should I use in a diffuser?
Start with 4 or 5 drops per 100 ml of water. Orange is mild and friendly in blends, so it can carry a drop of something stronger.
What's the difference between sweet orange and lemon essential oil?
Both are cold-pressed citrus oils. Sweet orange smells softer and fruitier; lemon is sharper and more zesty.
How do I store orange essential oil?
Keep it tightly capped in a cool place out of direct light. Shelf life is 3 years.
Can I eat or drink orange essential oil?
No. Sweet orange essential oil is far more concentrated than juice or zest. Keep it to the diffuser or a diluted external blend, never food or drinks.
