Questions
How much ylang-ylang should I use in a diffuser?
Two or three drops per 100 ml of water is plenty; the floral scent is heavy and can overwhelm a small room.
How do I make a ylang-ylang perfume oil?
Add about 6 to 12 drops to a 1 fl oz (30 ml) roller bottle of carrier oil, roughly a 1 to 2% blend, then patch-test before wearing.
How long does ylang-ylang oil keep?
It has a 3-year shelf life. Store it closed tight in a cool spot away from sunlight.
Can ylang-ylang oil be ingested?
No. We sell ylang-ylang as a fragrance oil for diffusing and diluted external use, so never swallow it.
