We want everyone to be able to shop at thewildlore.com. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We test the site with automated checks (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard and on phone-sized screens; we also plan a screen-reader review.
What we do
- Color contrast chosen to meet WCAG AA for text and controls.
- Every link, button and form field works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline; menus, the cart drawer and the photo viewer close with Esc.
- Text alternatives for product photos.
- Buttons and links at least 44 × 44 pixels on phones, and form text large enough that phones don’t zoom in.
